2014年11月25日上午第三届国际道教论坛开幕式在龙虎山举行，联合国教育、科学及文化组织向本届论坛发来贺信，原文如下：

我们认识到道教是中国传统文化重要组成部分，东方文明在人类的文明中发挥着重要的作用。天师祖庭龙虎山就坐落在鹰潭，使之成为道教的重要城市。我相信通过国际道教论坛交流与研讨，一定能使道教深邃而丰富的思想更加发扬光大。

On the occasion of the Third International Taoist Forum in Yingtan City, I am pleased to send you my personal warm greetings and wishes for a successful event. I am remembering with fondness the visit I was able to pay to the Taoist Temple in Shanghai last August.

This visit allowed me to gain appreciation of an important part of China’s traditional culture and to acquire insight into Eastern wisdom, which has played such a significant part in human civilization.

I know that Yingtan City is an important site for the Taoist religion, where one finds at Longhu Shan the traditional residence of Heavenly Masters.

I am confident that during your Forum you will be able to share the manifold explorations of the profound, rich and inspiring thought of the Taoist faith.
